Don't believe what you might read on the packaging. Strangely, this concert only has uncompressed HDMI audio and a lackluster 2-channel PCM track. If you still can only decode compressed audio with your receiver( Dolby Digital 5.1 or DTS 5.1)then DON'T BUY this title. What a shame-since this was probably his last great performance on video. The video editing was a little manic.but what can you do in the age of ADHD and short attention spans.

I sometimes found myself watching the video instead of the live performer. I had recently seen Elton and Billy Joel together in Anaheim and a week later saw Elton alone at one of his last Ceaser's Palace shows. I had to say,wait a minute you paid to see Elton and not the video look at him.With the DVD it was really better than being there.I had a much better view and the sound was fantastic.I was going to buy this video at Ceaser's but it was over $40.At Amazon I paid a fraction of the Ceaser's price. The two live shows were fantastic but in a live situation there are many distractions. With the live shows there was projected video with each song. I have watched it many times.Thank you for offering it. J.C.

He includes songs that haven't been played live for awhile and you can tell he is having the time of his life. Any Elton fan should purchase this DVD. It is well worth the money. Songs like Balad of a well known Gun, Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters are included. Just spend the money already.

Contains some songs that are on other DVD's and some are not. This blu-ray dvd is very good. Has great video and audio. Does a great job with this so it's just not a repeat of some of the others. Would recommend.

Elton John's concert DVD for his 60th birthay is completely infectious. Elton sings and plays his heart out, you can feel his passion for the music and there's a lot of famous faces in the crowd cheering him on. Songs like Your Song, Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word, Something About the Way You Look Tonight, Benny and the Jets, The #itch is Back, and Tiny Dancer are the highlights here. Elton has an amazing talent, I highly recommend this excellent concert.
